# Transformed Code Debugging

> Metalama's `LamaDebug` configuration enables debugging of transformed code, allowing breakpoint setting and inspection in any IDE.

Metalama offers step-into debugging of transformed code, with a switch between the _source_ view and the _transformed_ view. Build with the `LamaDebug` configuration to step through the generated code line by line.

When you build with the `LamaDebug` configuration, the transformed code is stored under the `obj/LamaDebug/metalama` directory. This makes it easy to inspect the generated code and set breakpoints directly in it.
